The heavyweight HUGHIE FURY shoved his opponent Joseph Parker as they faced off in Manchester Town Hall, triggering a confrontation between the two camps that had to be broken up by security.
Parker will defend his WBO heavyweight title for the second time tomorrow in a clash with Fury that was scheduled to take place earlier this year held at Manchester Arena (formerly M.E.N Arena), Manchester.
But the initial fight was canceled at the last minute when the Brit pulled out with a back injury and the contest was rearranged to take place in Fury’s hometown of Manchester.
And it was in the town hall that they both weighed in front of a partisan crowd, willing Fury on as the pair squared up.
The 23-year-old started talking loudly in his opponent’s face during a tense face-off, egged on by his cousin Tyson, and while Parker made hand gestures telling him to calm down, Hughie Fury shoved the New Zealander in the chest.
