The KIA Picanto vs Rain or Shine [Governors Cup 2017] Aug 13. RAIN or Shine showed flashes of chemistry with its rejigged lineup as it got back on track and added to the misery of Kia with a 94-86 decision in the PBA Governors’ Cup on Sunday night at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Fielding three new three players including their import, the new-look Elasto Painters also saw a change in fortune as they snapped a two-game skid after holding off a late rally by the Picanto.

J’Nathan Bullock put up a solid debut with 20 points, 10 boards, two blocks, and two steals that negated his seven turnovers and few other questionable decisions, while Chris Tiu proved to be the glue guy for the transitioning team as he chipped in 13 points, eight assists, five boards, and one steal, against only one turnover in almost 31 minutes off the bench.

Local newcomers Mark Borboran and Ed Daquioag also fared decently in their first game for the E-Painters, who kept the Picanto winless in six games.
