The Kings paraded triple towers Greg Slaughter, Japeth Aguilar, and Joe Devance up front and the deadly duo of import Justine Brownlee and LA Tenorio in the backcourt to in what coach Tim Cone later described as part of the team’s way of revisiting the triangle offense.

Tenorio topscored with 29 points, Brownlee added 21, and Slaughter added 19 and eight rebounds in just his second game back after returning from an ACL injury after almost a year of inactivity.

The 6-11 Slaughter had 10 points in the second period when the Kings outscored the Batang Pier, 32-23, to turn a one-point advantage into a 61-51 lead at the half.
