The 12th Southeast Asia Basketball Association Championship is the ongoing qualifying tournament for the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup.

In a battle between two unbeaten teams, the Indonesians proved to be more composed in the clutch with the 38-year-old Wuysang making the big plays down the stretch.
Ananti finished with 24 points, while Patiphan Klahan added 10 markers for Thailand.
Neither team shot well from the field, with Indonesia nailing 33% of its shots and Thailand converting 35%. Thailand had a 49-35 edge in rebounding, but they also committed 23 turnovers that Indonesia turned to 18 points.
