Revelation 2:28 | To the Church in Thyatira
24, But I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned the so-called deep things of Satan: I will place no further burden upon you.
25, Nevertheless, hold fast to what you have until I come.
26, And to the one who is victorious and continues in My work until the end, I will give authority over the nations.
27, He will rule them with an iron scepter and shatter them like pottery—just as I have received authority from My Father.
28, And I will give him the morning star.
29He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Revelation 22:16 | Jesus is Coming
11, They have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they did not love their lives so as to shy away from death.
12, Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea; with great fury the devil has come down to you, knowing he has only a short time.”
13, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
14, Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by its gates.
15, But outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16, “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star.”
17, The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come, and the one who desires the water of life drink freely.
18, I testify to everyone who hears the words of prophecy in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.
19, And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
20, He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
21, The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.
Isaiah 14:12 | Triumphant Exultation over Babel
9, “Sheol from beneath is excited over you to meet you when you come; It arouses for you the spirits of the dead, all the leaders of the earth; It raises all the kings of the nations from their thrones.
10, “They will all respond and say to you, ‘Even you have been made weak as we, You have become like us.
11, Your pomp and the music of your harps Have been brought down to Sheol; Maggots are spread out as your bed beneath you And worms are your covering.’
12, “How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations!
13, “But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north.
14, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.‘
15, “Nevertheless you will be thrust down to Sheol, To the recesses of the pit.
16, “Those who see you will gaze at you, They will ponder over you, saying, ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms,
17, Who made the world like a wilderness And overthrew its cities, Who did not allow his prisoners to go home?’
18, “All the kings of the nations lie in glory, Each in his own tomb.
19, “But you have been cast out of your tomb Like a rejected branch, Clothed with the slain who are pierced with a sword, Who go down to the stones of the pit Like a trampled corpse.
20, “You will not be united with them in burial, Because you have ruined your country, You have slain your people. May the offspring of evildoers not be mentioned forever.
21, “Prepare for his sons a place of slaughter Because of the iniquity of their fathers. They must not arise and take possession of the earth And fill the face of the world with cities.”
