Bible verse about having (faith and confidence).
Mark 11:22 – The Withered Fig Tree
19, And when evening came, Jesus and His disciples went out of the city.
20, As they were walking back in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered from its roots.
21, Peter remembered it and said, “Look, Rabbi! The fig tree You cursed has withered.”
22, “Have faith in God,” Jesus said to them.
23, “Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him.
24, Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
25, And when you stand to pray, if you hold anything against another, forgive it, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your trespasses as well.”
26, But if you do not forgive, neither Father will your who is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Philippians 1:14 – Paul’s Trials Advance the Gospel
11, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
12, Now I want you to know, brothers, that my circumstances have actually served to advance the gospel.
13, As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ.
14, And most of the brothers, confident in the Lord by my chains, now dare more greatly to speak the word without fear.
15, It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill.
16, The latter do so in love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel.
17, The former, however, preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing they can add to the distress of my chains.
18, What, then, is the issue? Only that in every way, whether by false motives or true, Christ is preached. And in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,
Acts 27:25 – The Storm at Sea
21, After the men had gone a long time without food, Paul stood up among them and said, “Men, you should have followed my advice not to sail from Crete. Then you would have averted this disaster and loss.
22, But now I urge you to keep up your courage, because you will not experience any loss of life, but only of the ship. 23Just last night an angel of God, whose I am and whom I serve, stood beside me.
24, and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar. And look, God has granted you the lives of all who sail with you.’
25, So take courage, men, for I believe God that it will happen just as He told me.
26, However, we must run aground on some island.”
1 John 2:28 – Continue in Him
22, Who is the liar, if it is not the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son.
23, Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well.
24, As for you, let what you have heard from the beginning remain in you. If it does, you will also remain in the Son and in the Father.
25, And this is the promise that He Himself made to us: eternal life.
26, I have written these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you.
27, And as for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But just as His true and genuine anointing teaches you about all things, so remain in Him as you have been taught.
28, And now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may be confident and unashamed before Him at His coming.
29, If you know that He is righteous, you also know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.
