5, Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.

2, O sons of men, how long will my honor become a reproach? How long will you love what is worthless and aim at deception? Selah.

3, But know that the LORD has set apart the godly man for Himself; The LORD hears when I call to Him.

4, Tremble, and do not sin; Meditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

5, Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And trust in the LORD.

6, Many are saying, “Who will show us any good?” Lift up the light of Your countenance upon us, O LORD!

7, You have put gladness in my heart, More than when their grain and new wine abound.

8, In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O LORD, make me to dwell in safety.

1 Peter 5:7 | Cast Your Cares on Him

4, And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

5, Young men, in the same way, submit yourselves to your elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “- God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

6, Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, so that in due time He may exalt you.

7, Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

8, Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

9, Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.

10, And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore you, secure you, strengthen you, and establish you.

11, To Him be the power forever and ever. Amen.

9, Men of low degree are only vanity and men of rank are a lie; In the balances they go up; They are together lighter than breath.

10, Do not trust in oppression And do not vainly hope in robbery; If riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.

11, Once God has spoken; Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God;

12, And lovingkindness is Yours, O Lord, For You recompense a man according to his work.

Proverbs 3:5 | Trust in the Lord

2, For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you.

3, Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart.

4, So you will find favor and good repute In the sight of God and man.

5, Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.

6, In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

7, Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil. 8It will be healing to your body And refreshment to your bones.

9, Honor the LORD from your wealth And from the first of all your produce;

10, So your barns will be filled with plenty And your vats will overflow with new wine.

11, My son, do not reject the discipline of the LORD Or loathe His reproof,

12, For whom the LORD loves He reproves, Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.

Proverbs 16:3 | The Tongue’s Answer is from the Lord

1, The plans of the heart belong to man, But the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.

2, All the ways of a man are clean in his own sight, But the LORD weighs the motives.

3, Commit your works to the LORD And your plans will be established.

4, The LORD has made everything for its own purpose, Even the wicked for the day of evil

5, Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; Assuredly, he will not be unpunished.

6, By lovingkindness and truth iniquity is atoned for, And by the fear of the LORD one keeps away from evil.

7, When a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

8, Better is a little with righteousness Than great income with injustice.
