Bible verse on The gospel of the Lord about the power of Love, Peace, Mercy, Faith and the spirit of the truth.
1 Peter 5:6 | Cast Your Cares on Him
5, Young men, in the same way, submit yourselves to your elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility(Humbleness) toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
6, Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time,
7, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
8,Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
9, But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.
10, After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
11, To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.
12, Through Silvanus, our faithful brother (for so I regard him), I have written to you briefly, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it!
13, She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you greetings, and so does my son, Mark.
14, Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace be to you all who are in Christ.
1 John 1:9 | Walking in the Light
6, If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7, But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8, If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10, If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.
Luke 6:35 | Love Your Enemies
32, If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.
33, If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do the same.
34, And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full.
35, But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
36, Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
37, Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
38, Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”
1 Corinthians 13:4 | Love
3, If I give all I possess to the poor and exult in the surrender of my body, but have not love, I gain nothing.
4, Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5, It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no account of wrongs.
6, Love takes no pleasure in evil, but rejoices in the truth.
7, It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be restrained; where there is knowledge, it will be dismissed.
1 Corinthians 13:13 | Love
12, Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13, And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.
1, Earnestly pursue love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.
2, For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men, but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries in the Spirit.
1 John 4:18 | Love Comes from God
17, In this way, love has been perfected among us, so that we may have confidence on the day of judgment; for in this world we are just like Him.
18, There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. The one who fears has not been perfected in love.
19, We love because He first loved us.
1 John 3:16 | Love One Another
15, Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that eternal life does not reside in a murderer.
16,By this we know what love is: Jesus laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
17,If anyone with earthly possessions sees his brother in need, but withholds his compassion from him, how can the love of God abide in him?.
Matthew 22:37 | The Greatest Commandment
36, “Teacher, which commandment is the greatest in the Law?”
37, Jesus declared, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
38, This is the first and greatest commandment.
39, And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40, All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments.”
