Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers tips off on Friday night at Quicken Loans Arena.
Cleveland showed fight in Game 3, responding to back-to-back double digit losses by blowing out the Warriors by 30 points. LeBron James and Kyrie Irving were sensational and the Cavs got strong performances from Tristan Thompson and Richard Jefferson as well.
Cleveland’s defense did an excellent job of limiting the Warriors while also frustrating Curry into another less than stellar performance. A solid win for the Cavs however, Golden State has lost back-to-back games just once all year and will likely come out with more fight on Friday.
Heading into Game 4, the status of Kevin Love remains up in the air. Jefferson started the game in place of Love, who was in the NBA’s concussion protocol but should be available to play. However, with Jefferson playing well as a starter, Love’s role — starting or coming off the bench — is still undetermined.
