Serbian tennis ace Novak Djokovic bagged the men’s title of the Miami Open at Crandon Park on 3rd April, 2016. The World No. 1 defeated Japanese star Kei Nishikori in straight sets, winning by 6-3, 6-3 in the finals of the prestigious tournament. The fixture lasted 1 hour and 26 minutes.

The 28-year-old won his sixth Miami Open title thus equalling Andre Agassi’s record. He also registered his 28th Masters tournament win, moving ahead of Spaniard Rafael Nadal. Djokovic also became the first tennis player in the Association of Tennis Professionals history to win the Indian Wells-Miami Open double three years in a row.
