Golden State Warriors NBA 2015 news: GSW – Official list of game schedules NBA preseason, Stephen Curry says team’s looking forward to defend title, The latest Golden State Warriors depending champion of NBA previous season 2015 full list of all upcoming games of warriors.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry recently had a one-day promotional tour in Manila and in an interview said they are looking to repeat as the National Basketball Association (NBA) champions next season.

Last season, Curry led the Warriors to their first championship in 40 years when they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games in the NBA Finals.

Before reaching the championship, Golden State finished the 2014–15 regular season with a league-best 67–15 record.

The Warriors swept the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round; eliminated the Memphis Grizzlies in six games in the second round; and needed only five games to dispatch the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference Finals.

It was a great ride for the Warriors and despite not having a major addition in the offseason, Curry told reporters in the Philippines, according to Agence France-Presse, “We feel like we’re still the team to beat.”

Curry also spoke about the challenge of defending their championship in the upcoming season.

“It’s going to be a different challenge for us. We’ve never defended an NBA championship before so it will be a new experience for us,” the 27-year-old said.

Curry added that they need to get better than last year to again reach the top since every team will be gunning for them because they are the champs.

Besides winning the NBA title, the two-time All-Star was also named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) after averaging 23.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 7.7 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.

Curry also captured his first three-point contest championship during the All-Star break last February. The Warriors will have seven preseason games before having a rematch against last season’s first-round opponents the Pelicans to open their 2015–16 regular season.
